Digitalised submissions and placement for a network of twenty-two branches: a single access point to the market, with the flexibility to tailor every solution to the end client.
“We weren't handed a pre-packaged product: we were put in a position to articulate our need and build it together with RiskAPP.”
The challenge
Howden arrived in Italy in 2021 and grew to twenty-two branches, with strong local roots and mid-corporate clients. The network's reach is its strength, but also a complexity to manage: it needed a new way to distribute products across the country without flattening local specificities.
The choice
After a wide scouting across market vendors, three things made the difference: a more modern approach to technology than the sector's traditional applications, speed in responding and, above all, the flexibility to build the solution together rather than adopting a pre-packaged product.
The result
Today every branch operates under the same conditions: a single, structured access point to the insurance market, with the ability to tailor each proposal. The workflow covers multiple lines of business — Property, Liability, Employee Benefits — and adoption has been particularly high on renewals.
In one word
Asked “if you had to describe RiskAPP in one word?”, Sandro Fidani answers: flexible. In a context as complex as commercial lines, it is the most useful trait for meeting the challenges the market and clients raise every day.
