Which modules make up the platform?

Eight modules working on the same data: Erik (AI assistant for underwriting), RoRe (automatic data extraction from documents and email), DealT (deal management with KPIs), ReconH (reconciliation and accounting matching), BrokerP (carrier–broker submission portal), RTI (remote risk inspection), SaleJ (rating and quotation) and Advisory (risk profiling for intermediaries).

Do I have to adopt every module, or can I start with just one?

You can start with the single module that solves your most pressing problem and add the others when you need them. Because they share the same data foundation, every module you switch on increases the value of the others: it is an operating system, not a collection of separate tools.

Does RiskAPP replace the core system or management software we already use?

Accepted Answer

No. RiskAPP sits alongside your existing core systems and management software: it reads documents, structures the data and feeds it back to downstream systems, automating the manual steps between one stage and the next. The goal is to make what you already have talk to each other, not to rebuild everything.

Does the AI replace underwriters and staff?

Accepted Answer

No: the AI prepares the work, the person decides. Erik collects and summarises information, flags anomalies and proposes recommendations, but the outcome is always validated by whoever owns the case. The goal is to remove repetitive work, not professional judgement.

How can I trust the AI's answers?

Accepted Answer

Every flag is traceable back to its source document: it is not a black box. Explainability, observability and evaluation are part of the product, so users can drill into every step and understand why the AI proposed a given outcome. Formal checks — policy compliance, business codes, consistency between revenue and financials — follow deterministic, reliable and repeatable logic.

Are our data used to train the models?

Accepted Answer

The customer's data stays the customer's and is not used to train third-party models. RiskAPP uses the uploaded documents only to process your organisation's own requests, within the scope of the service agreement.

What happens if the AI makes a mistake or "hallucinates"?

Accepted Answer

Human oversight is designed exactly for this: nothing goes downstream without validation, and every result stays verifiable against the source. Where reliability must be total (regulatory and formal checks) deterministic logic is used rather than generative AI; generative AI is used where it adds value and always with the underwriter in the loop.

Where is the data hosted, and does it stay in the European Union?

The infrastructure is built for the European market and data is processed in compliance with the GDPR. We provide the technical documentation on data centres, regions and sub-processors during evaluation: get in touch and we will share it.

Who owns the data we upload to the platform?

Accepted Answer

The data remains the property of the customer. RiskAPP acts as data processor on behalf of your organisation and uses it solely to deliver the service set out in the contract.

Is RiskAPP GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Personal data is processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679: legal basis, purposes, retention and data-subject rights are defined in the processing agreements. On request we provide the privacy notice and the DPA (data processing agreement).

Do you have an information security policy?

Yes. RiskAPP maintains an Information Security Policy that interested parties can request by writing to sicurezza@riskapp.it. The security of customer data is a product requirement, not an add-on.

It depends on the module and how deeply it integrates with your existing systems, but you can start from a focused scope and see the first results in a few weeks, without rewriting your infrastructure. We define a concrete first use case together and start there.

Yes: the platform is designed to fit into existing workflows, read documents and email and exchange data with core systems and management software. The integration is sized to the customer's context; we discuss it during the analysis phase.

Adoption is designed to be simple: the modules slot into daily work and support the person rather than upending their habits. We provide initial guidance and ongoing support; you don't need an internal technical team to use the platform.
